What are the water pressure requirements for your showers?

Steam showers need between 1 and 3 bar of pressure at the unit! don’t exceed 3 bar (some manuals reference 3.4 bar as an absolute maximum on select models). For the best results, aim for 2-3 bar. You’ll also need a flow rate of at least 7.5 litres per minute for steam cabins, and around 14 litres for steam showers.If you’re on a combi boiler, you shouldn’t need a pressure equalising valve! the shower’s thermostatic valve is designed to handle any imbalance between the hot and cold supply. If you’re on a gravity-fed system or your pressure is too low, a twin-impeller pump can help, since it balances hot and cold water evenly. Ask your plumber to check your system if you’re not sure.
