Do I need to tile under or behind the unit?

We’d recommend fully tiling under your shower, steam shower or whirlpool bath! these are freestanding units and may need to be slid out for servicing, and full tiling makes that easier. Tiling behind is optional, since the glass at the rear isn’t see-through! one or two rows along the edges is usually enough for a tidy finish.
