Description
The full-sized Aegean 1700 is packed full of features yet somehow still manages to retain its clean and stylish good looks. Offered in either a classic Crystal White or modern Midnight Black interior coupled with the unit’s modern chrome fittings, this high-end, luxury unit, designed to look stunning in any bathroom is another great example of the design and quality that has resulted in Vidalux’s continuing to be a highly regarded steam and sauna manufacturer by its customers on Trustpilot
Quite simply, you will struggle to find anything quite so breathtaking and feature-packed as the Aegean 1700. An extremely capable 1HP whirlpool pump powers the 6 adjustable high-pressure whirlpool jets, complete with an air mix controller, while a 2nd separate pump feeds the 8 AirSpa Jets in the base of the unit. Add these to the 3 large and multiple spray body jets on the centre column, this unit is sure to deliver the highest level of hydrotherapy massage available on the market today.
The Bluetooth connection feature means you can easily play your phone’s media through the Aegean’s high-quality speaker system, together with the remote control, you can control all the media, electric functions and the quick start steam system, which offers all the health benefits associated with steam saunas without setting a foot inside the cabin.
All electronic features are powered effortlessly with the help of Vidalux’s revolutionary touch-screen control panel which comes in a colour to perfectly match your choice of shower colour. The large overhead monsoon, high-quality chrome hand shower and jets are controlled by the thermostatic, anti-scold Vernet shower valve compatible with all combi boiler systems and without the need for an additional PEV like other manufacturers. Storage shelf, Ozone sterilisation unit, extractor fan, easy glide, quick release door wheels for easy cleaning and extra sturdy reinforced bath and chromotherapy lighting system that can cycle the full spectrum or be left on the exact colour to suit your mood or decor, the list of features is truly endless.
At the very heart of the Aegean 1700 is the assured quality constantly delivered by Vidalux to its customers. Vidalux’s full no-leak guarantee and ‘Leak-Free’ design and innovations ensure, in the unlikely event any water gets behind the exclusive compression seals on the shower, it is simply redirected back inside through the return channels, making allowances for even the most imperfect installation and no unsightly silicone on show are just two of the innovations that set Vidalux apart from the competition. We didn’t realise how tight the installation would be and how much additional space would be required. We just about managed, though you would assume you could build these products from the inside and not from the back. Happy with it now that it’s installed and it was a worthwhile struggle in the end
Craig Williamson (verified owner) –
A bit of a task getting up the stairs but we got there in the end and whilst I like my showers and the wife likes a bath, and we didn’t have room for both this was the compromise. I was a little worried about the quality of the steam thinggy and Jacuzzi when you consider the price of the item being so low but they are really good on both. It all fitted together reasonably well and let’s just hope it lasts

The bath looks really good and replaces our old bath and shower to give us more room, it did take my husband a full day to install but he did it himself and he’s not a plumber. The colour-changing lights are a favourite and I love the steam and a long soak in the tub
