The specially selected, high-grade Canadian hemlock offers an eye-catching, fine and light tone that perfectly compliments most interiors. Ceramic Only Saunas
First-generation ceramic heaters were powerful and emitted a lot of infrared heat, but due to the small service area, the wavelength tended to be shorter and only traveled in a straight line, therefore these are less therapeutic and less beneficial. This shorter spread of heat can be an effective way to focus more intensely on specific areas of the body that may need more ‘close up’ attention but these heaters often lead to saunas suffering cold spots at any distance away from the heater.
Carbon Only Saunas
On the other hand, developed to produce higher quality, long wave infrared heat, able to heat the body more intensely and penetrate deeper due to the surface area of the panels. Regular carbon heaters, although more beneficial to the user, their downfall was that they did not produce a lot of infrared heat and take a lot longer to warm up, although this lower heat makes them safer and users able to endure longer sessions and these panels can only produce FAR infrared.

‘Complete Heat Technology’ Full Spectrum Carbon Fibre Ruby Quartz Heaters
Underneath the ergonomically designed backrest, located close to the user and those large muscle groups, just where the body needs it. Full Spectrum
Full-spectrum is a reference to the entire coverage of the infrared spectrum: near-infrared, mid-infrared and far-infrared wavelengths. What a beast! We absolutely love it. Built it in about 10 minutes, plugged it in, and away we went. Really impressed with how solid it is and how good it looks and how well it works

It came packaged in four or five well-protected boxes, and while it’s really easy to put together, I’d recommend two people — it took my brother and I about 15 minutes, with panels that clip together. There’s lighting inside which you can switch off or set to different colours via remote; I tend to leave it on red for the mood. I got two backrests, which help keep you away from the full spectrum heaters — this is the full spectrum version, and you can really feel the heat compared to carbon-only models. There’s an air cleaner/oxygeniser, Bluetooth speakers, FM radio, MP3, and USB. The control panel lets you set temperature up to 65°C and timing, taking around 15 minutes to heat up, and there’s also a foot rest heater. It fits well in a room around 2.5-3m wide for the two-person model. I’ve had it for a couple of months and I’m absolutely loving it — it works really well, and Vidalux support has been really good whenever I’ve had questions. It came with some extra packaging and parts for optional accessories, which weren’t needed but were handy to have. Assembly was straightforward panels that simply clip together, with the door already attached

In the middle of building a wellness room in the garden and the sauna was always going to be the centrepiece, we’ve been looking for a while for the best sauna. Everything online and everyone was saying Vidalux and I can say that we haven’t been let down and have exceeded our expectations.

We also purchased two backrests, which make it more comfortable. It was straightforward to put together, though you ideally need at least two people; it took us two to three hours, helped by a useful video on the Vidalux website. The build quality is good, with a digital control panel to switch the lights and sauna on and off, adjust temperature and timing, and play music via Bluetooth. It reaches a maximum of 65°C, giving a good sweat without being too hot, so you can comfortably stay in for 20-25 minutes, and takes about 15 minutes to heat up. There’s also an oxygen ioniser that purifies the air, giving it a cleaner, fresher feel and improving circulation. We’re very pleased with the sauna and use it twice a week with relaxing music, which helps with relaxation and recovery from exercise or tight muscles, especially in the back. We’d definitely recommend getting a sauna from Vidalux, as it’s really improved our mental and physical health.

I’ve just had the fortune of buying a new Vidalux infrared sauna. It’s a two-person infrared sauna, perfectly dry, no moisture, and absolutely superb. The whole experience with Vidalux has been good from start to finish — the quality of finish is fantastic, with superb fittings and woodwork. Delivery was fantastic too, arriving on a pallet with superb packaging, no damage, no nicks, no marks whatsoever. It took about 15 minutes to assemble with two people, and within 20 minutes of plugging it in we were in it, having a glass of wine afterwards, thoroughly pleased with our purchase. I can thoroughly recommend Vidalux, especially this model, and the whole aspect of doing business with the company has been superb

Happy to review. I got the 2-person one even though its just me so I’ve got extra room. The bowl you can see in the image contains a small amount of aromatherapy oil I put in front of one of the heaters and it works really well, I think in future I’ll probably get a holder to go on the wall. Really happy with the item. The voice on the control panel, which comes with the speaker, is a bit annoying but other than that, a really fab product.

We keep our new sauna in what we loosely call our gym, previously one of the kids’ rooms. I thought a sauna would be way too expensive and difficult to build, but in actual fact it was really easy — took my husband and I a couple of hours including getting it upstairs. It’s very sturdy and quite attractive, with lights you can set to any colour, though I find some of the presets a bit boring compared to just picking blue. We did have to purchase the base separately, and there’s plenty of room inside. It’s got Bluetooth for music or radio, and we set the timer for about 30 minutes, leaving it 10 minutes to heat up first. There’s also an ioniser, which you do need to turn on and off yourself. Overall it’s got everything you’d expect and a little bit more — an absolute bargain, with free delivery too. I’ve already recommended one to my brother and a couple of friends

We’ve had our Vidalux Full Spectrum sauna for a year now, and it’s a great way to unwind and relax. It arrived well packed on a pallet, and with two people the panels fitted together perfectly without any tools — the front glass panels just needed a screwdriver and an Allen key. Being the full spectrum model, it has both infrared and black heat panels, which bring it up to our set point of 45°C in about 15 minutes; we usually let it warm up for 5 minutes before going in. We love that it connects via Bluetooth so we can play music, the mood lighting cycles through colours (we’ve settled on green), and the two back panels can be switched off independently if it gets too hot without cutting the whole session short. It costs us around £1 to run for a 45-minute session. We first came across infrared saunas in Germany and liked the size and flexibility, and after some research the Vidalux Full Spectrum model was the perfect fit — we’re really pleased with it, and not having to drive to the leisure centre and back is a great bonus.
